WORKING FOR THE PEOPLE OF EAST DERRY

Hi, my name is Gemma Brolly, I’m the Deputy Leader of Aontú and Representative for East Derry.

As a mother, teacher, and community activist, I believe in taking action rather than sitting back.

I stepped into politics because I saw a growing disconnect between ordinary people on the ground and those making decisions in government.

From tackling the cost of living crisis to fighting for better education, I am here to help those who need it most.

Whether it is supporting the people who visit my constituency office in Dungiven, organising protests to protect services in our local hospital, or fighting for investment in local infrastructure such as the Bann Bridge in Kilrea, my focus is always on improving our communities.

As Deputy Leader of Aontú, I work alongside Peadar Tóibín TD and our parliamentary team in the Oireachtas. This allows me to elevate issues affecting East Derry and the North to the national stage, helping us to deliver real, practical results on the ground.
